Southern Utah Home Builders Care Foundation (SUHBC) is a nonprofit organization that strengthens communities in Washington County. It’s purpose is to provide education and charitable construction related services to individuals in need.

Even in the face of the continuing economic downturn, home builders around Washington County are putting aside their own challenges to help less fortunate members of the community.

Donations may also be made in the center court at the Red Cliffs Mall in St. George where Parade of Homes tickets are purchased. For each donation made at the mall, you may receive lip balm or a shoe bag to use while viewing the Parade homes. (Minimum of $2 donation.)

In year’s past, we received many requests for shuttle service to the homes from those that didn’t know the area (out-of-town visitors, or new to the area) or from those that just didn’t want to drive to every home and find a bit of a walk before them due to so many cars parked near the Parade home.

We listened! This year St. George Shuttle will provide home-to-home service during the Parade. You leave the driving to their professional and courteous drivers. The 22nd annual St. George Area Parade of Homes approaches with excitement and much anticipation of making a significant impact in Southern Utah. There is a great selection of 28 Parade homes on display in a variety of home prices, set among magnificent landscapes only found in Southern Utah.

Many visitors attend the Parade of Homes year-after-year because they always find state-of-the-art home building technology and design. When it comes to the Parade, the builders and trade contractors go beyond the ordinary and showcase the best in building to make each home a unique and extraordinary viewing experience.

“As builders we look forward each year, to the challenge of dreaming, designing, and building homes that truly capture the essence of the “American Dream” and it is the customers’ enthusiasm and excitement that drives us to reach ever higher in the home building industry,” said James Sullivan, President of the Southern Utah Home Builders.

New this year is exclusive shuttle services that will help the attendees not have to worry about driving to homes and finding parking spaces on the busy weekends. St. George Shuttle will provide home-to-home shuttle service during the Parade. Shuttle passes are limited and can be reserved at www.stgshuttle.com or by calling 855-758-7433. Attendees will also have the opportunity to win incredible prize packages by visiting a minimum of 14 Parade homes.

Tickets are being sold online through paradehomes.com and facebook/paradehomes in addition to the regular locations at Red Cliffs Mall and Lin’s Markets where tickets are sold for $12.50 starting February 16, at 5 p.m. People can purchase their ticket vouchers on-line and go directly to the Parade homes.

Attendees are invited to Dream, See, and Live the largest St. George Area Parade of Homes yet. Affordably priced homes, as well as everyday ideas on home décor, landscaping, and interior design, all set in this serene and picturesque red rock paradise make the St. George area an appealing destination. The St. George Area Parade of Homes is celebrating 22 years of making a positive impact in Washington County. The first Parade of Homes was in 1991 with 15 homes. Some of the special features included jetted tub, vaulted ceilings, plant shelves, and double sink vanities.

22 years later we boast 28 homes with special features that include infinity pools, glass staircase, theater rooms, unique water features, disappearing glass walls, outdoor living areas, and so much more!

The homes are spectacular and fun to see – but just what is the impact on the county?

Over 514 Parade homes have been built in Washington County.
Over 470,330 visitors have attended with approximately half from Northern Utah. Visitors come from as far away as Washington, D.C., Canada, and all parts of the country.
This event, over the years, has created thousands of jobs and continues to inspire people to be excited about the home industry in the midst of economic struggles.
The economic impact is just under a half billion dollars!
